Based on reliable reports, Air Algerie Flight 5017 was carrying an approximate of 116 passengers when it scheduled its take off last Thursday. As far as its official route is concerned, it originated from Burkina Faso to its final destination. In retrospect, it suddenly got lost from a sophisticated radar system, minutes after it had changed its system of flight, not because of anything else but due to bad weather. In other developments, Hollande further added:

What we already know is that the debris from the plane is concentrated in a limited area, but it’s still too early to draw conclusions.

This is the ill-fated Air Algerie which has claimed more than a hundred lives.

After the said plane crash, its wreckage was found in the vast region of Mali’s Gosh. This is a particular region which is actually not far from the border of Burkina Faso. Air Algerie has six crew members who were all Spanish nationalities. Likewise, the ill-fated plane has well-documented its casualties as follows: Six Algerians; five Canadians; four Germans; two from Luxembourg and one each from Mali, Cameroon, Belgium, Ukraine, Romania, Nigeria and Egypt. The plane was owned by SwiftAir, a Spanish-owned company but was solely operated by Air Algerie. This is the actual video clip of the plane’s last sojourn. Watch.

Needless to say, the unexpected crash of Air Algerie has proven to each one of us that safety should not be compromised in any way. Therefore, aviation safety procedures around the world must be further enhanced to save millions of innocent lives.
