The young and vibrant Deniece Cornejo would like to end her misery in jail after she was reported to have reconsidered the option of having a court settlement provided that Navarro will apologize for whatever misgivings that he had done to her. This was disclosed by Attorney Salvador Panelo, her legal counsel. Vhong Navarro and Deniece Cornejo alongside with the other co-accused had met each other again at the Taguig Metropolitan Trial Court for their series of Judicial Dispute Resolution Hearings in relation with the counter charge of Vhong Navarro which is about grave coercion. The said proceeding was presided by Judge Marilou Tamang and was ordered by Judge Bernard Bernal. Meanwhile, the closed door JDR was not witnessed by their respective lawyers according to Attorney Alma Mallonga.

Going back to the issue of a court settlement, Vhong had declined it from the very start of their long and winding court battle. At the rate things are going, it seems that both parties have their own concept of vengeance and justice. Nevertheless, the court has yet to decide on the fates of both Navarro and Cornejo respectively. When will this court drama end? Only time can tell. Nobody wants to take sides on this legal battle because both sides seem to have probable causes.

However, as destiny seals in the arduous need for justice one has to fall and suffer the consequences of their own actions. On the premise of court settlement, there is no such thing most specially if Navarro and Deniece Cornejo firmly believe that if they are both innocent until proven guilty. Just the same, Denice Cornejo must be able to prove that her rape case against Vhong Navarro is as strong as the firmaments of the earth to finally set her-self free.
