Enzo Pastor Slay Case Update :

Months after the death of Enzo Pastor, Quezon City police have confirmed in a report that the wife of the slain race car driver is now officially considered a suspect in his murder case. Dalia Guerrero Pastor, wife of Enzo Pastor is said to have had an affair with businessman Domingo “Sandy” de Guzman III, the alleged main suspect in the killing of Pastor, who was arrested yesterday in Muntinlupa City.

Sandy de Guzman III was arrested in Muntinlupa City after an entrapment operation. Sandy didn’t know that the gunman he hired, Pasay City PO2 Edgar Angel, who was in police custody, confessed and admitted he killed Enzo Pastor in exchange of 100,000. Angel also said that Sandy promised him a bonus for the successful plan. Police then set up an entrapment operation wherein de Guzman is handing the said bonus to PO2 Angel.

According to Chief Inspector Rodel Marcelo, head of the Quezon City Police District’s Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit, investigation is currently ongoing, however, they’ve established that Sandy and the wife of the victim have a relationship. Not only that, the illicit relationship of Sandy and Dahlia has been the subject of rumors within the Philippine Racing Community. De Guzman on the other hand denied any connection to Angel, as well as his alleged relationship with Dalia.

Meanwhile, parents of Enzo Pastor are “in a state of shock” over the result of an investigation linking their daughter-in-law Dalia to the killing of their son. In a phone interview on “Unang Balita” on Thursday, Eduardo Villena, lawyer of the Pastor family, said

“just like any parent-in-law, they had their doubts in favor of Dalia because the relationship is still there. Actually, they wished the allegations were not true,” he said. “But the results of police investigation point in that direction… and seemingly the claims are based on facts.”

A search for the wife of Enzo Pastor, Dahlia Guerrero Pastor is now ongoing after she took down her Facebook page and not replying to text messages.

In 2013, Enzo Pastor flew to Europe and competed in the Euro Racecar NASCAR Touring Series. He was the first Filipino to participate in the NASCAR Whelen Euroseries Open Championship race circuit. He also had stints in the Macau Grand Prix and the Asian Formula 3 series. He just came off the Asian V8 Championship, and was declared the winner of the final race of the second leg at the Batangas Racing Circuit.
