Too much sun exposure may cause skin cancer and can actually be a factor to develop tumors on the face. Putting on sun screen during summer or winter is a must. Choose products with a sun protection factor of at least 15 and those that blocks UVA and UVB rays. Remember that the sun’s heat is strongest between 9:00am to 3:00pm so try your best not to go out during these times. If you must go out, re-apply sun screen.

Drink plenty of water. Aside from using water to wash your face, drinking lots of it will help you eliminate the toxins in your body. In fact, one of the secrets of having great skin is by drinking lots of water. Drinking at least 8 glasses a day will be enough to hydrate and help hydrating your skin.

Exercise also helps to get rid of the toxins in the skin. Regular physical activity like working out in the gym or doing other sports activity will help you achieve that healthy face skin.

Avoid sugary foods. Sugar can make skin sag and develop wrinkles. Smoking can make your skin look older and gives wrinkles too. Smoking may cause damage to collage and elastin, these two gives the skin its strength and elasticity.
