The international mainstream of music will sorely miss a legendary musician and bassist whose name is Jack Bruce, who died yesterday at the age of 71. He became a member of a world- renowned band in the ’60s which was then known as the Creams. The Scottish music guru’s sudden demise was officially confirmed by his beloved family members via his official Facebook account. To quote, it was sadly posted as: It is with great sadness that we, Jack’s family, announce the passing of our beloved Jack: husband, father, granddad, and all round legend. The world of music will be a poorer place without him, but he lives on in his music and forever in our hearts.

It is with great sadness that we, Jack’s family, announce the passing of our beloved Jack: husband, father, granddad, and all round legend. The world of music will be a poorer place without him, but he lives on in his music and forever in our hearts.

For those younger generations of today, Jack Bruce had become a phenomenal name in the music industry when he formed his very own band. Among his colleagues were award- winning singer and songwriter, Eric Clapton. Likewise, he got interested in the creativity and inherent talent of Ginger Baker. Among their greatest hits were as follows: White Room, Sunshine of Your Love and Crossroads, to name a few. Characteristically, Bruce was such a great genius during his heydays because of most of their hits were beautifully composed by him. Despite of the Creams’ unprecedented route to fame, their group had been disbanded due to their alleged involvement in drug-related issues. This had brought him to a fruitful realization that he had to reinvent him-self as musician. Along this line, his colorful biography had stated.

Jack felt that he had strayed too far from his ideals and wanted to rediscover his musical and social roots.

His genial gift and talent and music were heavily influenced by his loving and ever supportive parents. At an early age, he joined different jazz bands and dance groups to further hone his magnificent musical inclinations. Then, he willingly decided to join the Graham Bond Organization wayback in 1962. During the span of his illustrious career, he tried to go solo. He successfully recorded a number of albums, wherein he had humbly done a dozen of them. One of the most popular ones was the album entitled Silver Rails. Surprisingly, his first band had their memorable reunion sometime in 1993. Ultimately, Jack Bruce’s greatest legacy was the Cream’s induction to the Hall of Fame Circle.
