Injured fan Cindy Tsai sued the R&B star, Miguel after the stage jump incident.

Miguel Jontel Pimentel, who performs under the name Miguel, is an American recording artist, singer, songwriter and producer. He is being sued for his 2013 Billboard Awards performance when he leaps across the stage and nearly snap a fan’s neck upon landing. He also accidentally kicks another woman in the head during the same jump, and it looks like she’s finally taking legal action against the singer.

Meanwhile, the other woman, who was hurt by Miguel’s stage leap was also considering suing the singer when the incident first took place. According to her lawyer, Khyati Shah suffered from possible brain damage following the jump. He said, “some of the difficulties she’s experiencing are cognitive in nature and lead to suspicion of a neurological head injury”. Her lawyer also claimed, at the time, that the medical treatment offered to Shah after she was kicked in the head was not sufficient and consisted only of an ice pack.

Miguel should have settled with that woman since day one. That back bends or whatever you call it, it looked like it hurts so bad. He almost broke her neck with that jump.
