WAYNE STATIC was the enigmatic former frontman and namesake of Static-X, who later forged a successful solo career. At the time of his demise, Static Wayne is scheduled to have a tour with Powerman 5000 and Drowning Pool this coming January. He allegedly died of drug overdose. When his rock ‘n’ roll colleagues had learned about his death, they immediately paid tribute to the youngest icon of rock music. Among those who paid their last respects were: Papa Roach‘s Jacoby Shaddix, Mad Beans Hooper and David Draiman to name a few. Meanwhile, in his official Facebook account Micah Electric who has been a close friend of the late rockstar had tearfully remembered the loss of a dear friend who was able to share some of his fondest memories during their concert tours in some of the most beautiful countries in the world.

In real life, he was born as Wayne Richard Wells. During his heydays, he founded the Static in 1994. From then on, their success was unprecedented. In fact, they had released a total of six albums. Some of these were as follows: Wisconsin Death Trip, The Gold Machine, Shadow Zone, Start A War Cannibal and Cult Of Static among others. He was best known as an exceptional guitarist, vocalist, and a musical sequencer rolled into one. All of those multi-tasking responsibilities were for the love and honor of Static. In his early life, he was born in Muskegon Michigan. At a very young age of three, he immediately fell in love with his first toy guitar.

From there, he was introduced to various music lessons to hone his inherent talent. Incidentally, he won his first ever plum in a music competition. Unbelievably, he was already band member when he was 12 years of age. Wayne Static had interestingly knew the real and passionate desires of his heart when he was in high school. To date, he gamely played in a band for the cute repertoires of his dear classmates.

Career wise, his very own band Static became so popular due to their strange hairdos. Thus, Wayne Static had never been the same again with his so-called chintaly beard. As a private citizen, he was said to be an atheist. On the other hand, he was a certified vegetarian.
